The impetus for writing this song is the individual colours we each have when we express ourselves. When we do that with integrity and honesty and respectfully, we show who we are and are able to relax with ourselves and others. It takes confidence to do this, but the reward is expansive. The song is uplifting and positive. The song fuses across three main genres: Rock, Funk/Soul, and Pop. Sub-genres include Blues, Folk Rock, Indie Alternative Rock, and Pop Soft Rock.
